Two men arrested after Monroe County home invasion

Two men were arrested after a home invasion Saturday evening in Raisinville Township, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said one man was taken into custody while the incident was still underway at a residence on Ida Maybee Road. The other fled on foot but was later found in a nearby cornfield by a Michigan State Police trooper and a service dog.

The men, ages 34 and 40, were lodged at the Monroe County Jail. Authorities asked anyone with information to contact the sheriff’s detective bureau or Crime Stoppers of Michigan.
