Oil spill briefly closes Charlotte roadway
An oil spill prompted the temporary closure of southbound S. Cochran Avenue between Shepherd Street and Fourth Street in Charlotte around 12:45 p.m. Thursday, according to Eaton County 911.
Responders were called to the scene, and the roadway reopened shortly after 2 p.m. Officials did not immediately say how the oil entered the road.
